What will be learned?
Film 101 (formerly Facets Kids Film Camp) is an exhilarating intro to the art of film. Expert media educators teach campers the foundation of film history, appreciation, and production. Campers apply this knowledge by working in teams to make an original short film.

- Engaging: Learn film essentials through team-building activities, attractive discussions, and special guest presentations
- Creative: Work together to produce a unique short film and gain skills applicable far beyond the studio lot
Who should enroll?
We encourage young creatives of all skill levels and backgrounds between the ages 714 to enroll. No prior knowledge of film production is required.

All Chicago sessions take place at Facets and run MondayFriday, 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. Snacks are provided, but participants must bring their own lunch.
Enrollment fee: $450, or $405 for Facets Members.
