Our Film Camps turned 30 this year and since launching in 1994 we have helped develop over 4,000 young creatives, some of whom are active in the film industry today!

In 2020, we established The John A. Bross Student Scholarship Fund in honor of our beloved long-time board member who passed away. Since then, hundreds of donors have come together to raise nearly $100,000 to date, allowing us to award Film Camp scholarships to qualifying under-resourced Chicago youth and free Field Trip tickets to our annual Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. With both our Film Camps and Field Trips, our mission is for Chicago’s youth to see themselves in an empowering light and to be provided with the opportunity to tell their own stories.

This fall, our goal is to raise $15,000, allowing us to serve 750 under resourced students during this Fall’s Film Field Trip programs.
