As a millennial vlogger and hopelessly millennial reporter, Brian Emond has everything—except what he has always wanted, which is to work in a real organization.
However, he has faced so many disappointments, and his confidence has been shattered by too many listicles, which are popular because they require minimal effort since everyone is busy and no one has time to read. In order to write this latest clickbait scoop, he must leave Brooklyn for the mountains of North Georgia, and finds himself on an overnight research expedition with a prominent cryptozoologist, where he sees something that cannot be explained. After having a brush with the big guy, he decides to take his assignment a bit more seriously, as he goes further into the forest to see what he can uncover.
