Gain the skills, tools, and techniques to bring your ideas to life through animation. In this program, you’ll develop original story ideas and explore a variety of animation methods, including computer-drawn, computer-coded, hand-drawn, and stop-motion animation using real-life objects and sculptures.
Stop-motion enthusiasts, take note! Learn the techniques behind the magic of legendary creators like Aardman Animations (Wallace and Gromit), Henry Selick (Coraline, Paranorman), and Wes Anderson (Fantastic Mr. Fox, Isle of Dogs). Experiment with real-life objects, clay sculptures, and even found materials to craft fun and unique animations that move and inspire.
Let your imagination go wild as you discover the many free online animation tools available to creative minds today. From simple sketches to intricate digital designs, this program empowers you to create animations that are entirely your own.
We encourage young creatives ages 9+ of all skill levels and backgrounds to enroll. No prior knowledge of animation is required.

Tech Specs
- Internet access is required
- Participants can use any type of electronic device (iPad, android, laptop, desktop computer, or iPhone) with any major operating system (Windows, Mac or Linux)—devices with larger screens are preferred
- This camp will use FREE online animation tools (no app downloaded need): Brush Ninja, Clara.io, Scratch, Cloud Stop Motion. Accounts are recommended (for greater flexibility with the site) and would require a username and email address.
Cancellation Policy
Deadline for cancellations for a full refund is 3 weeks prior to the start of each program. Cancelling within 3 weeks incurs a $100 cancellation fee.
