soep (Christa Moesker, Netherlands, 2023, 10 mins): Castaway and trapped on a small island sandbank, a man must make some choices. One day he digs a plastic masonry tub out of the sand and tries to escape the island with it. However, the sea has other plans.

Tipping Point (Bart de Piraat, Netherlands, 2022, 11 mins): Tipping Point tells the story of Sustania, a world that is, in a sense, literally thrown off balance when its inhabitants start exploiting a previously inaccessible part of their world.

The Rock Pool Waltz (Marlon Denning, Austrlia, 2021, 8 mins): During COVID lockdown, a boy’s affinity with nature eases his loneliness and leads to an incredible friendship.

Disappearing Jewels (Will Kim, USA, 2023, 15 mins): Remembering the filmmaker’s grandfather who was a blind man and walking weather forecaster, Will Kim interviews ocean experts and brings his perspective on the impact of climate change and ocean warming.

Thomas and Korduni: Bees Saving Elephants (Frank Feustle, Germany, 2018, 25 mins): Come learn about African Elephants with 12-year-old Thomas and Korduni.  Elephants have come through their village’s fields and are eating and damaging crops. With the help of bee expert Emmanuel, see how the boys can save these gentle beasts from the angry villagers!
