On Thursday, November 14, Anime Club explores the charm and intrigue of cats with a fun night of feline-themed screenings.

At 7pm, we’ll begin with a secret screening set in the streets of Chicago, where action and adventure collide in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase you won’t want to miss. Then, at 9pm, we’re diving into two eccentric deep-cut OVAs: What’s Michael (1985), a hilarious slice-of-life about a mischievous orange tabby, and Oruorane The Cat Player (1992), a surreal and whimsical tale of a magical cat musician.

This members-only event promises an exciting mix of mystery, action, and feline fun. Film Club Members are invited to join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating cats in cinema. Plus, we’ll have a raffle with special event posters & exclusive anime prizes, and you can relax before and after the screening in The Lounge or The Studio—perfect spaces to discuss the show, grab a cocktail, and vote on future screenings.
