alterotics is proud to present two films by Annie Sprinkle: Linda/Les & Annie (1989) and Sluts & Goddesses Video Workshop (1992). The screening will open with the premiere of a new alterotics documentary short film.
Annie Sprinkle is an American artist, ecosexual, former sex worker, and sex educator. She has worked as a prostitute, sex film actor and director, and strip club performer.
Her career has spanned decades of groundbreaking work in sex-positive feminism, performance art, and environmental activism. She is widely recognized for her pioneering contributions to the feminist porn movement and for challenging societal taboos around sexuality.
Sprinkle holds a PhD in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. She has taught at universities internationally and has been a vocal advocate for sex workers’ rights throughout her career.
