Join us for an expert panel of artists, filmmakers, and writers to explore the importance of combining art production with political activism.
Moderated by Kartemquin founder and filmmaker Gordon Quinn, this intimate conversation addresses essential questions about artivism and the use of creative expression to advocate for political and social change. The panel will feature examples of how artists and documentary filmmakers use their work as tools for political action, how there is still more work to do in this area despite an influx of activist-focused content, and why it is important for art to adequately reflect our times to both engage and activate audiences.
