United by a shared formal and emotional inquiry: how an experience echoes after it has passed. The program is inspired by the structured writing method that pairs immersion with reflection. The films move between immediacy and distance, sensation and insight, often mirroring or transforming their own structures to reveal new layers of meaning. Repetition becomes variation, memory becomes music, and form itself becomes a site of emotional investigation. Across this program, images and gestures are deepened by time, sharpened by perspective, or refracted through history and personal myth. Together, these works bridge raw experience and reflective clarity, creating a continuum where feeling and thought coexist. The result is a cinematic language shaped by rhythm and transformation.

Amir George is a filmmaker and artist whose work blends sound, image, and spirituality to create cinematic experiences of non-linear perception. His interdisciplinary practice spans film, installation, and curatorial work. His films have screened at institutions and festivals including MOCA Los Angeles, MoMA PS1, Camden International Film Festival, BlackStar Film Festival, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. His archival short film Shades of Shadows is part of the Walker Art Center’s permanent collection.
