On Sunday, October 20th, our Family Fall Fun Day continues with Storytime Shorts, a captivating short film program designed for children ages 6-10.  

Young audiences will be transported across the globe through a selection of engaging short films that showcase diverse stories from around the world. These films are filled with humor, adventure, and heart, sparking imaginations and providing a glimpse into different cultures and experiences. 

But the excitement doesn’t end with the films. Throughout the day, FACETS will be buzzing with fun, fall-themed activities in the lounge and studio areas. While parents unwind with cider and warm donuts, kids can dive into hands-on projects, trying their hand at stop-motion animation or getting creative at the art-making tables. Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble will host an animal dance party, inviting children to move, stretch, and dance like their favorite creatures. 

Storytime Shorts offers more than just films—it’s a full day of creativity, exploration, and fun. With engaging activities for all ages, it’s the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the magic of storytelling together while celebrating the spirit of fall.
