FILM SYNOPSIS
The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) brings Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday story to life as only the Muppets can—with warmth, humor, and unforgettable music. Michael Caine stars as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, whose icy heart begins to thaw after a visit from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Joined by Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Mrs. Cratchit, and a host of other Muppet favorites, this joyful retelling captures the true spirit of Christmas with songs, silliness, and timeless heart. A cherished tradition for families around the world, it’s a film that reminds us that kindness, generosity, and laughter never go out of season.
Brian Henson, 1992, USA, 85 minutes.
